Eastern Ohio / Western Pennsylvania


The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for two (2)  manufacturing facilities, one in Eastern Ohio and one in Western Pennsylvania (plants are 30 minutes apart).  He/she will report to the Plant Managers at the two (2) facilities equally, and will manage the warehouse staff and coordinate the assignments of labor personnel and shifts to meet the warehouse / customer service goals.  Responsibilities to include:

  • Ensure compliance to all safety rules including safe stacking procedures and promote a safe working environment
  • Ensure stacking and loading procedures are followed to prevent damage to material
  • Ensure customer and quality standards are met at time of shipment
  • Implement warehouse projects and action plans to achieve production and shipping goals
  • Develop employees by training, cross-training, upgrading, evaluating, reviewing and disciplining
  • Responsible for motivation and morale of employees
  • Document all injuries and be an active member of the Joint Safety Committee
  • Supervise the warehouse staff
  • Reports any process and equipment problems
  • Communicate and coordinate sales and traffic issues to generate improved performance
  • Perform inventory controller functions to maintain balance in aged and stocked material
  • Responsible for special projects and other duties as assigned



  • The ideal candidate for the Warehouse Manager position will possess a minimum of an Associate’s Degree, and at least seven (7) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
  • Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
  • Previous experience regularly working with a unionized workforce, and a solid understanding of labor relations is required
  • Strong decision making, problem solving, communication, and organization skills
  • SAP experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and follow through on projects
  • Eligible for work in the United States without sponsorship
