Reporting to the HR Manager, the Training Coordinator is responsible for supporting organizational training and development initiatives that will enhance the knowledge, skills and performance of individuals and teams. The Training Coordinator will champion a continuous learning environment, and will work with all levels of employees to improve performance, member satisfaction and achieve business objectives. This role is involved in all facets of learning, from the administration, design, development, coordination and delivery of all learning programs.

Responsibilities to include the following, but not limited to:

  • Develop supporting learning material, including presentations, reference guides, handouts, and FAQs that will enhance and promote user adoption, liaising with subject matter experts as required;
  • Deliver various types of in‐class and web‐based training sessions, including technology, new equipment rollouts, refresher training, and soft skills training;
  • Respond to requests for training, evaluates resources, and recommends most suitable options;Organize, develop or source training content/programs to meet specific training needs and address identified overall skills gaps;
  • Liaise with managers and colleagues of other departments to implement corporate learning strategies;
  • Market available learning & development opportunities;
  • Coordinate the logistics of learning events;
  • Support the administrative needs of the learning & development function;
  • Monitor and support learner progress;
  • Address and resolve learners concerns or training‐related issues;
  • Participate in the design, development, and deployment of eLearning and in‐class training;
  • Facilitate in‐class training as required;
  • Keep existing learning materials up to date;
  • Monitor the overall effectiveness of current programs for continuous improvement;
  • Responsible for investigation of and development of capabilities for Learning and Certification modules.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in education, HR or a related field;
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a support role, preferably for training purposes;
  • Hands‐on experience coordinating multiple events in a corporate setting;
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and eLearning platforms;
  • Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Basic Windows as well as Webex and other training media;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet strict deadlines;
  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities;
  • Ability to work independently without supervision;
