SolidWorks Designer – Kitchener

Job Description

The SolidWorks Designer is responsible for the design and modeling of modular residential buildings and will also be responsible for modeling structural chassis layouts and stud details.

Responsibilities to include the following, but not limited to:

• Completing modeling and drawing of parts, assemblies, sheets and BOMs
• Reviewing existing and creating new building designs, assemblies, parts or details
• Adapting existing/ developing new modular details for fabrication drawings
• Reviewing design details and flagging questions, conflicts of inconsistencies
• Organizing drawing packages including Permit & Shop Drawings
• Working closely with senior Designer to identify weekly production needs
• Other duties as assigned
