  • Position specifics: Direct Hire role with a reputable and long standing employer in the Windsor area. The territory is Windsor-Essex County and Chatham-Kent area. The primary industries that will be serviced/targeted is Agricultural, Construction, Fishing, Food and Transportation. Commission, bonus structure and other compensation benefits will be discussed in the interview process. Although the requirement will be NBD, the majority of time will be spent on Customer Service and Account Management. Job Description

Qualifications

Reporting to Senior Management, the Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales and marketing activities in a specific market/territory, and will promote and create demand for new and existing products.  Responsibilities to include:

  • Relationship development of the existing customer base
  • Cold calling and the development of new accounts
  • Territory management including sales planning and coverage
  • Customer service activities, including following up on customer inquiries, product field support and tracking/recording issue resolution
  • Preparation and accountability of realistic annual price objectives
  • Promote and create demand for existing products and applications and implement new products and technology for users
  • Present technical forums promoting the use of the products
  • Provide technical expertise to user/customers concerning new and existing product technology, specifications, problem solving, and value added related industry concepts

 

Education & Qualifications:

  • University degree or college diploma in Business, Engineering or Marketing (or related field of study)
  • Past success and experience in a sales and marketing role
  • Strong customer relations, with above average communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge and proficiency of MS Office package, including MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access
  • Experience with Material Testing and Quality Control Assurance
  • Experience in asphalt, fuel, lubricants or petroleum related industry an asset
