Job Description

The Receptionist / Administrative Assistant is a professional, efficient and positive first impression for all callers and visitors to the office. Responsibilities to include:

  • Ensuring office is open and set up appropriately each morning
  • Greeting each guest, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Answering calls and efficiently directing them to the correct individual
  • Managing boardrooms, including scheduling, cleanliness and supplies
  • Arranging for couriers and office equipment repair
  • Arranging for meals for special meetings
  • Assisting various departments as needed
  • Assisting accounting department with data entry, time and attendance tracking, etc
  • Assisting in expense tracking and reports
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Diploma in Business Administration a definite asset - but not required
  • Minimum two (2) years previous Reception / Administrative experience
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must have a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Exceptional organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office - with the ability to learn new software quickly
