Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the following, but not limited to:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for any appointed projects and managing all aspect from start to finish
  • Reviewing of all contracts, specifications, addendum, drawings and correspondence to be able to efficiently plan and execute the projects scope of work
  • Submitting any clarifications of RFI’s pertaining to any concerns related to the project
  • Engaging in planning and executing work procedures
  • Inspecting work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adheres to construction schedules
  • Coordinating with Estimators to price all changes in the scope of work and follow up on the receipt of approved Change Orders prior to proceeding with the work
  • Coordinating with manufacturing division to ensure product is scheduled for fabrication
  • Coordinating with shipping department to ensure materials are delivered to the customers
  • Preparing and completing monthly cost reports and schedule of values for each project
  • Approving close out of projects and ensuring all invoice have been issued
  • Gathering and submitting warranty documentation
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering / Building science program or a related educational field
  • Three (3) plus years’ experience as a Project Manager or experience as a Project Coordinator  and ready to move into more of a Junior PM role
  • Must have experience in a Construction environment and experience in a manufacturing setting is a definite asset
  • Experience working with architectural panels and other rain screen products is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in MS office package
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D is considered an asset
  • Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
  • Strong blueprint reading skills
