Job Description

The Project Architect is responsible for the Design and management of several residential projects from Schematic Design to Project Close-Out.

Responsibilities to include the following, but not limited to:

  • Using modular standards to design buildings
  • Weekly meetings for projects, coordination and production
  • Generating project schedules and budget and administering to the design team
  • Development of new modular details for current projects and the product line
  • Reviewing code for envelope, fire separations, accessibility, etc
  • Coordinating design details and clash detection with design team
  • Overseeing drawing packaged for Permit and Tender
  • Assisting in management of Sharepoint, Procore and BIM360
  • Assisting in developing generative design and robotics
  • Assisting with office operating procedures
  • Assisting with sales, outreach and presentations
  • Assisting in scheduling weekly productions needs
  • Assisting in resourcing and delegating tasks to design team
  • Assisting in onboarding training and mentoring for new designers and PMS
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Degree in Architecture
  • OAA license is required
  • Knowledge of CHOP work schedules and project budgets
  • Skilled in managing design team and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Design-Build and sub consultant contracts
  • Knowledge of CCDC contracts, management and administration
  • Liaison with Design team, Clients, Contractors and Fabricators
  • In-depth understanding of OBC and other regulatory documents
  • Advanced understanding of Revit and BIM360 - Dynamo is an asset
  • Advanced experience in construction drawings, shop drawings and details
