Job Description

The Logistics / Plant Administrator is responsible for assisting in various duties as well as the coordination and administration of the Quality Management System for three businesses.

Responsibilities to include the following, but not limited to:

  • Monitor, manage and maintain document maintenance and control
  • Supporting management review process, scheduling meetings, taking minutes, working with the management team
  • Collecting paperwork and quality records from production, where required complete dat entry or transcription, and then file paperwork in accordance and compliance with document retention procedures
  • Establish, maintain, verify and mange various QMS documentation in accordance with applicable SOPs
  • Manage the document change over processes
  • Monitor, manage and maintain employee training records,
  • Supporting production activities as they related to quality and quality system elements
  • Maintaining daily/weekly/monthly shipping documentation including detailed records of items shipping as well as costs for shipping
  • Liaise with customers on an ongoing basis to ensure shipments are coordinated and every effort is made to ensure ongoing customer satisfactions
  • Coordinating with accounts receivable and management on an ongoing basis to establish billing requirements after product is hipped
  • Supporting production where necessary in production parts assembly, packaging of finished goods from production and ensuring visual requirements of finished goods before shipping
  • Facilitating as third party in arrangements of shipping for customers
  • Facilitating communications between logistics companies and drivers
  • Liaise with shipper/receive/material handlers in vendors facilities to coordinate material and parts shipments


  • Minimum three (3) years experience in an office and or plant administration setting
  • Experience in the Tool and Injection molding industry would be considered an asset
  • Experience with customer portals
  • Experience creating POs - sending to vendors, etc
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Word and other record keeping programs
