Job Description

Working closely with the Management Team, the Inside Sales Representative will be a high energy force for the company and will play a fundamental role in achieving the company’s ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Learning the business model from the ground up, and understanding fully the products and services provided to clients
  • Creatively identify and generate leads through cold calls, referrals, social media platforms and other channels
  • Understand customers needs and requirements
  • Ability to follow-up and follow-through on leads all the way to services rendered
  • Research key accounts, identify main players and generate interest
  • Maintain a database of sales leads information (i.e notes and follow-up actions)
  • Provide customer service and support for existing customers
  • Presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective buyers
  • Special projects when necessary
  • Inside clerical & administration assistance when needed, including answering phones and responding to inquiries on social media


  • Post secondary degree/diploma in Marketing, Business Administration or similar
  • Experience in a previous sales department utilizing sales techniques - understanding of the sales process and dynamics
  • High level of customer service experience and ability - needs to be able to effectively and professionally communicate with the general public and customers alike
  • A solution provider, that is not afraid to walk a customer through the process, listen to their needs and communicate options to them
  • A very strong and persistent phone presence - not afraid to put it out there, smile in the face of adversity and talk to any walk of life
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • The drive and ambition to work autonomously with very little supervision, managing multiple accounts while continuing to search for new opportunities and growth
  • An "entrepreneurial" can do attitude - understands the need to drive the business forward through new growth and the wherewithal to come up with suggestions and get creative
  • Needs to be competent on social media
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and photoshop software a massive asset
  • Background knowledge and/or experience in shipping, receiving, logistics and/or distribution would be beneficial, but not required
