Job Description

The Intermediate Architectural Revit Designer will lease between Architects and Engineers and the modular design team. The candidate must be highly skilled in the interpretation of building design documents, the coordination of building systems and building science with a superiors attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have an interest in modular construction, automate fabrication systems, parametric design software and developing alternative approaches to the design and construction industry.

Responsibilities to include the following, but not limited to:

  • Reviewing existing and creating new building designs, details and shop drawings
  • Adapting existing and developing new modular details for construction drawings
  • Completing building packages, plus customizing schedules, etc
  • Reviewing design details and flagging question, conflicts or inconsistencies
  • Working with Senior Designer/Architect to identify weekly production needs
  • Converting or developing preliminary designs for potential clients
  • Representation at meetings with Architects /Owners to describe the process and details
  • Organizing and overseeing drawing packages including Permit & Shop Drawings
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology
  • Minimum five (5) years working experience with Revit in an Architectural or Engineering Firm
  • OAA license is an asset
  • In-depth understanding of OBC and other regulations
  • Experience working closely with clients, design team, contracts and fabricators
  • Thorough understanding of construction documents
  • Experience producing construction drawings, shop drawing and details
  • Knowledge of contract management and administration
